Accessibility statement
Foundry Nine Digital, Maquoketa, Iowa. Last updated October 5, 2026.
Our commitment
Foundry Nine Digital wants everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard used for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and accepted worldwide.
What we have done
- Every page has a page title, a language, headings in order, and landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer).
- A Skip to main content link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline. Tabs can be moved with the arrow keys.
- Text and controls meet the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios in both light and dark mode, and a control is never identified by colour alone.
- Pages reflow to a 320 pixel wide screen without sideways scrolling, and keep working when text is enlarged or spaced out.
- Photos and graphics have text alternatives. Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Animation is switched off for people who ask their device to reduce motion. Nothing plays by itself and nothing times out.
- Links say where they go, and links that open a new tab say so.
The price builder uses ordinary labelled checkboxes, and the total is announced as it changes. Fonts are served from this website, so no other company’s code runs when you visit.
How we checked
We tested every page on October 5, 2026, in light and dark mode and at desktop and phone widths, with the axe-core accessibility checker (rules for WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 levels A and AA, which found no problems) and with our own keyboard, zoom, reflow and text-spacing checks.
We have not yet had an independent audit, and we have not yet tested with people who use screen readers or other assistive technology. Automated checks cannot find every problem, so we may have missed some. Tell us if you find one.
Known limitations
The portfolio shows a small preview card of a website we built. The card is a picture of that site; the full site, linked from the card, has its own accessibility statement.
